Wooden Door MA17 – Antique Double Leaf Colonial Door with Glazed Transom & Original Green Paint Fresh as a monsoon garden, aged as a forgotten palace — this beautiful antique double-leaf colonial wooden door strikes the perfect balance between delicate elegance and solid, heavy Indian craftsmanship, all wrapped in a gloriously weathered original green paint that simply glows with the warmth of old India. Tall and slender in proportion, this magnificent door is complete with its original full-width glazed transom above — a clean rectangular grid of timber-framed glass panels that flood the space with soft natural light, giving the whole piece a bright, airy colonial character that feels as relevant today as it did a century ago. The two door leaves carry four generously proportioned tall raised panels — two per leaf — with finely outlined cream-painted borders that create a beautiful two-tone contrast against the rich green ground, adding a refined decorative touch that elevates this door far above the ordinary.
